We have put together a curriculum of one day workshops right here in the Bay Area.
You will learn from local professional photographers in a beautiful setting in the Oakland hills.
The four acre ranch has a custom photography studio where you will take classes,
outdoor shooting areas (complete with goats and chickens), and all the photography grip and
digital workstations the instructor will need. Just bring your camera, a willingness to learn,
and an idea or two, and we’ll take care of the rest – even lunch!
The studio at Workshops on the Farm was designed with teaching in mind.
It’s an 800 square foot studio built in a mid century barn. White walls, projector screen,
digital workstations, lighting, grip and everything you’ll need to learn is right there.
We’re perfectly set up for small groups of 8-15 students so that you can learn one on one from our instructors.
Located right in the Oakland Hills on a private four acre ranch, you’ll feel like you’ve traveled for hours.
Topics will be introduced in the studio and demonstrations will be conducted around the property.
A stone’s throw away is the East Bay’s Redwood Park where our nature workshops will head for location work.
